The Right On Survey provides a valuable insight into the health, wellbeing, lives and experiences of

children and young people living in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

In 2023 the Right On Survey was completed by over 8,200 children and young people. The data gathered provided Cornwall Council, education settings and partner organisations with a wealth of information on the views, opinions and experiences of young people. This has been used to shape service delivery and strategy across a broad range of areas. The findings have been used to help improve the support offer for pupils, inform school development plans and in PSHE delivery.

The Right On Survey 2025 is being delivered by the Cornwall Council Children's Rights Team in partnership with Public Health, who are also funding the project. All education settings with pupils in Year 4 and above are invited to participate. The invitation is also open to organisations supporting children and young people not currently attending school, including home education groups, youth groups, foyer projects etc. Individual young people not attending school will be invited to participate too, but they do not have to register yet.

We want as many children and young people as possible to have the opportunity to be heard so need your helping in raising awareness of this important survey.
