We take a variety of approaches to quality assurance, audit and scrutiny in order to reassure ourselves about the effectiveness of multi agency working across the partnership.

Multi-agency Case Audits

In 2024-25 we have reintroduced a programme of multi-agency case audits in response to learning from local reviews.

The learning is explicitly linked to the work of the learning and review group.

Published findings

• Neglect in large family groups
• Sudden and unexpected death in infancy (SUDI)

Currently underway

• Exclusion and suspension from school in relation to emotional wellbeing 

Our future programme will include

• The impact of domestic abuse on children aged 7 and under
