Multi-Agency Chronologies

A chronology is a series of significant events and changes that occur in a child’s life; the child’s felt and lived experience.

Our local Rapid Reviews and Learning from Experience Reviews in 2024 evidenced that professionals find multi-agency chronologies helpful when working with complexity.

Multi agency chronologies have been found to provide a better understanding of the child’s lived experience and therefore what support may be needed and how the approach might be changed, assist in supporting the decisions making process and help other agencies understand decisions that have been made.

  • The Learning and Review Group have developed some best practice guidance, available here.

In 2025/26 we will be delivering workshops for people who are frequently asked to complete chronologies for OSCP reviews.

If you are interested in booking a place on one of these sessions please contact us.
