  • The Myth of Invisible Men”- Safeguarding children under 1 from non-accidental injury caused by male carers September 2021  - This is the third national review commissioned by the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel. It focusses on the circumstances of babies under 1 year old who have been harmed or killed by their fathers or other males in a caring role.
  • NP Annual Report 2020 Patterns in practice - This second annual report from the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel provides analysis and
    refection on English safeguarding practice during what has been an indescribably hard time for children and families. It has also been a period of unprecedented test and challenge for all those entrusted with safeguarding and protecting children from harm.
  • The multi-agency response to child sexual abuse in the family environment - a Joint Targeted Area Inspection (JTAI) report produced by Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), HMI Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) and HMI Probation (HMIP). This report describes the findings from six JTAIs carried out between September 2018 and May 2019. This included a deep dive into the experiences of children and young people who are at risk of, or subject to, child sexual abuse in the family environment.
