Child Exploitation Awareness Campaign Launch

Message from John Clements, Independent Chair:

I am pleased to confirm the launch of the second phase of the ‘CE the Signs’ campaign, specifically aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of exploitation amongst secondary-school aged children and young adults across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

This is a joint campaign promoted by Our Safeguarding Children Partnership (OSCP) and the Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB).This campaign aims to highlight different types of exploitation, raise awareness of the signs to look out for, and to advise young people on the help and support available if they are experiencing exploitation or are worried about a friend or family member.

The campaign will be predominately taking place on social media, but we’ll also be sharing some posters and flyers with secondary schools and colleges across the County.

Please take the opportunity to talk about the campaign with friends and colleagues, promote the resources and make sure you are up to date with the signs of exploitation.
