The out of hour’s service runs from Monday to Thursday 5.15pm (4.45pm on Fridays) until 8.45am weekdays and for 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Below are resources that can be used to raise awareness of adult safeguarding, including how to recognise signs of abuse and neglect and what to do if you are worried about somebody in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

  • ‘ A guide to the public on protecting adults at risk of neglect and abuse’ is an easy-read leaflet that explains the types of abuse and how to raise a concerns
  • A leaflet of 'What to do if you are concerned about the abuse of an adult in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly?'
  • The are you worried about an adult and protecting adults posters can be used in public spaces to raise awareness and identify safeguarding leads who members of the public and professionals can talk to about their concern.
