SAB Innovation fund

The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Safeguarding Adults Board has agreed to undertake a period of investment in time limited projects that promote partnership working and innovation that will benefit and further safeguard the people and social care sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Anyone is welcome to submit a bid to the Innovation Fund - SAB welcome any proposals that will support the understanding and development of local context, support and activities that will improve safeguarding practice and outcomes for adults in our area. The criteria for applications is broad to enable innovative ideas and proposals, however the three criteria below must be met:

  1. Funding for the proposed project must be time limited to 12 months
  2. There must be clear measurable outcomes that positively reach a wide audience
  3. The project must be aligned with the CIOS SAB 5 priorities as set-out in the SAB Strategic Plan 2021-2024

    Applications can be made from the partnership by completing the Business case template and sending to safeguardingadultsboard

    This will be considered by the Innovation Panel meeting made up of the SAB Executive Group members. The individual/organisation making an application will be invited to attend to present and discuss their proposal.
