Information for volunteers during Covid-19

If you are a volunteer during this unusual time watch this video produced by Kerrie Todd from Cornwall Council to find out more about adult safeguarding and how you can be aware of the signs of abuse and harm and what you can do.

Kerrie explains what the signs of abuse might be and how volunteers are able to help by reporting any safeguarding concerns.

The CIOS SAB have produced a basic safeguarding workbook aimed at volunteers who come into contact with adults at risk.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and by working through this workbook it will help you understand your role in safeguarding adults at risk of abuse and neglect.

This booklet is a useful tool especially during the increase in volunteers due to Coronavirus (COVID-9)
