Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Safeguarding Children Partnership

Subgroup Structure

We currently have the following sub groups, bringing representation together from across the partnership...

  • The Learning and Review Group will promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisations and systems that work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, identifying opportunities to draw on what works and promote good practice.

  • And we also have Missing and Exploitation (MEG) Group, which is tri-partnership and takes an 'all age' approach.  The MEG is a strategic multi-agency sub-group providing direction and co-ordination in the response to missing people and exploitation across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, with the strategic aim of ensuring that it is considered as daily business. The sub-group is a multi-partnership arrangement between Safer Cornwall, Safer Scilly, Our Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Safeguarding Adults Board.

In order to proactively respond to priority areas of work it has been agreed to move to a task and finish group model for specific pieces of work to best focus on our priorities and emerging themes.
