Professional Curiosity in Adult Safeguarding Practice
This 1 hour long session facilitated by Teams will seek to:
- Define professional curiosity and illustrate how it manifests in everyday practice across adult services.
- Recognise the importance of professional curiosity as a key element in safeguarding.
- Consider how to enhance and apply the skills and knowledge required to work with curiosity, including active listening, respectful challenge, and critical thinking.
- Reflect on real-world examples where a lack of professional curiosity impacted outcomes, and identify lessons learned.
