Multi- Agency Neglect Deep Dive 13/10/26: Neglect in Children and Families not known to services

Course Information:

Some children become less visible because they are educated at home, frequently move, miss appointments, live in isolated communities or have limited contact with universal services.

This session explores how children and families can ‘disappear’ from professional view and how important safeguarding information may become fragmented across agencies.

Delegates will consider indicators of neglect, barriers to engagement and the difference between families being difficult to reach and services failing to reach them. The session emphasises professional curiosity, effective information sharing, chronologies and coordinated multi-agency action.

Cancellation Charge

Please note that with effect from 1^st November we will be introducing a cancellation charge of £75. This will apply to cancellations that take place 48hours or less before the start of the course or if you book a place but do not attend. If you are unable to use your place you can move to an alternative date or arrange for someone else to attend in your place but please email us at OSCPtraining@cornwall.gov.uk
