Level 3 Multi-Agency Responses to Neglect

From September these courses will be delivered online using Teams. A Meeting invitation with a link to the training will be sent once you have booked a place. When it is safe to do so we will return to delivering face to face training.

Course Description

This one-day course will enable multi-agency professionals to develop their knowledge base and skills in the use of a variety of evidence based, analytical assessment tools and frameworks to evaluate a child’s lived experience of neglectful care and use specific intervention strategies to safeguard and promote the child’s development.

Participants will understand that the process of assessment, analysis and intervention has to be within the child’s developmental timeframe so that, with positive changes to their care, they can recover from neglect and thrive. This training can act as the update or refresher required for Level 3 compliance with the requirements of statutory or professional organisations.
