GP Safeguarding Conference

Reluctantly we have decided to change our plans for the GP Safeguarding conference which was planned for 7th October

We will now be offering the conference as an on line meeting. You will (hopefully) be relieved to hear that this will be for the morning only, as we do not think anyone has the stamina for an all-day event. We hope that informing you about this change now will give you enough time to change any arrangements you may have made to attend, but hope that you will still be able to join us on line.

This will be our first on line event so please be patient and kind to us as we try to amend the programme and make the necessary arrangements, thanks

We are very sorry about this change but hope that you understand the important reasons behind it

Looking forward to seeing you on 7th October

This conference is aimed primarily for GP safeguarding leads. There will be a mix of topics including practice administration issues, child protection referrals, domestic abuse and some adult safeguarding training relevant to GPs. Initially we will restrict bookings to two people per practice and appreciate that in some cases the practice may prefer for a manager or safeguarding administrator to attend in addition to one of their leads. However preference will be given to GPs in the first instance. It is anticipated that nearer the date we will be able to release more spaces.

There are currently no dates for this event.
