Developing Professional Curiosity
The evidence from recent Local Safeguarding Children Partnership Reviews has suggested that some additional learning around developing and using professional curiosity in our work throughout Our Safeguarding Children Partnership with children and their families might be useful.
These sessions from Research in Practice are comprised of 2 elements:
- Filmed resources and a short workbook to be completed in advance of the online sessions
- 1 hr Interactive online seminar learning session
The sessions relate to the following professional standards:
PQS:KSS - Developing confident and capable social workers | Assuring good social work practice and development | Promoting and supporting critical analysis and decision making | Relationship-based practice supervision | The role of social workers | Safeguarding | Effective assessment and outcome based support planning | Direct work with individuals and families
