An introduction to concerning and harmful sexual behaviours

Course details:

This workshop is delivered by colleagues from Gweres Kernow and is designed improve awareness of concerning and harmful sexual behaviour and the support that is available to practitioners, children and their families.

Target group

Practitioners working with children and their families in a range of settings in Cornwall including schools, early years, voluntary and community organisations, health and social care.

Learning Outcomes:

This workshop aims to inform attendees about:

• The Gweres Kernow team & what we offer
• Definitions of concerning and harmful sexual behaviour
• An holistic approach to working with children, young people and families incorporating Safety planning, specialist assessments and interventions
• Relevant research and theory
